Lighthouse Trail

There are five walking trails to choose from in the area. Lighthouse Trail, Rose Blanche Trail, Harbour Le Cou Trail, Diamond Cove Trail & Barachois Falls Trail. Each one is special in it's own right. Be safe & by all means, enjoy!

Rose Blanche Trail

Historic Lighthouse, Crow Head and Big Bottom Trails are short, moderate trails which connect the Rose Blanche Lighthouse with the Town’s harbour. Enjoy ocean and harbour views, outport houses and fishing stages. Pack a lunch, take a walk, have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful scenery. All trails are accessible until the first snowfall after which local residents use them for snowshoeing.

Harbour Le Cou Trail

A designated Municipal Heritage Site, this historic one-kilometre nature trail is the same trail that was used by residents in years past to connect the communities of Rose Blanche and Harbour Le Cou. A rest area and lookout with spectacular views of the coast nicely complement this trail.

Diamond Cove Trail

A short moderate trail that connects Rose Blanche with the nearby community of Diamond Cove. This trail runs from the end of Savoury Lane in Rose Blanche to the Anglican Cemetery and boat launch area of Diamond Cove. Enjoy views of the Diamond Cove quartz outcrop, fishing stages, the ferry to La Poile and offshore islands. Spend some time exploring the Anglican Cemetery.

Barachois Falls Trail

A beautiful scenic 1.6km walk to a spectacular waterfalls. A seating area at the end of the trail allows for one to enjoy the view and tranquility of the area.
